I've discovered an artistic medium that has been sitting around waiting for me to find it for over 2000 years. It's called Encaustic, and it involves a mixture of beeswax, damar resin, and heat. Learning about the medium and how to use it has opened up new doors of artistic expression and inspired me more than anything I can recall. I'll write about these individually when I have more time. For now I'll just say that these are my first attempts and am grateful for your patience as I learn the ropes.
